In FAST Finance Reporting you can attach files to ensure important information is available with a document. You can open the Document Details page by drilling down from the Transaction Detail page.
Required roles:
FINANCE_DSU_UPLOAD to attach files. FINANCE_DSU_DELETE to delete files.
To attach files from Document Details:
Open the Document Details (from a variety of menu path options):
Next to the Document Number or PO#, you will see a paperclip Icon, if there is a red asterisk, there are currently supporting documents attached:
Click on the paperclip icon (in this sample, there are currently no supporting docs already attached). A dialogue box opens, allowing you to attach supporting documents:
The Document Reference number is inserted automatically. You must add one document at a time, but you may upload more than one document to each line item. File types may include Excel, Word, Text, Email and more. If FAST does not accept a file type that is needed for your organization or institution, please contact Customer Support for assistance.
Include any Document Comments.
Click Browse and select a Path to Document on your computer (to locate the file)
You can Send an e-mail notification (optional).
Click Upload File. The document is added to the list. To add additional items, click the + more button, as shown:
If you no longer want the attachment, click to delete it.
Please note that many of the functions listed above are role-based. Not every end user will have the ability to add, review or delete supporting documents in FAST Finance Reporting.
