When you first log into FAST, you will be presented with the FAST Home page. From here, you will navigate to your applications and reports. It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the basic FAST interface and home page. This interface is common across all of the FAST applications, and although your home page may look different due to customization at your institution, the basic layout and controls will be the same.
You can select the Finance Reporting Application from the Application selection on the menu or by selecting the Finance Reporting option from the sidebar menu.
When the Finance Reporting application opens, the Application Info Tab is open by Default. You can make one of the tabs the default when opening the FAST Finance Reporting home page. Just click the save icon, it changes to a indicating it is now the default; the save icon is removed from the other tabs. If you no longer want a tab to be the default, click the and it changes back to the icon.

The first thing that you will need to do is generate reports. There are a number of reports that come pre-built with FAST Finance, often referred to as Baseline Reports. These can be found in the Operating Statement, Balance Sheet and Additional Reports menus.
With these and all other reports, you will need to use the reporting page to view and customize the reports.
To get started, select the report that you want to run.
When you open a report, it will open to the Filter page. This is where you will select the filters used to narrow your data results. Required filters are marked with a * required.
Once you have selected your filters, Click on the Execute Report button to run the report.
More details about using reporting pages can be found in the Help sections on Using the Reporting Pages.
